We are a group in NW DC comprised of neighbors, friends, and people who share like values. We believe we are living through a moment of time when our freedoms and political system are under assault and it is the responsibility of each of us to stay informed and engaged and ensure everyone has an equal say in the decisions that shape our lives.

Participate in Rallies & Sign Waving
Join us to promote and participate in non-violent rallies and protests around the DMV. We can help provide de-escalation and safety training and direct you to bridge brigades and sign wavings.
Election Work for Races Across the Nation in 2026
Join us in person to write postcards and make phone calls for critical races throughout the nation. Join us to canvass with Ground Truth.
Work on Indivisible Actions & Support the Pillars of Democracy
Help us with work online and in person to grow the pro-democracy movement and help support the pillars of our democratic system.
What We Are Doing
Strategies for Building
Effective Actions
We have teams around the Pillars of Democracy to better organize and strategize for actions we can take that are impactful and effective. We collaborate across the DMV with other Indivisibles and organizing groups. We try to respond in a timely manner to emerging threats.
2026 Elections
Come together with your neighbors to work on targeted outreach. We work to GOTV, inform people of important voting considerations, and drive meaningful conversations.
We are working with Ground Truth to conduct active listening with ALL voters and potential voters.
Rallies & Sign Waving
Join our group to participate in Indivisible/50501 and other non-violent, pro-democracy rallies. Get connected to a Bridge Brigade or Sign-Waving or start your own!
Outreach & Education
Build a strong basis for education and outreach that inspires trust and accuracy. Our team crafts flyers, messages, and outreach that reflect the values of a free society.
Action Teams
We work to create pro-democracy actions that fit into the larger pro-democracy movement, connect with community members and drive engagement.
Indivisible Actions
We work to promote coordinated action with Indivisible, broadening the reach of their big-tent messaging and holding representatives accountable to their constituents.

We are a friendly group always ready to have a slice of pizza or meet at Politics and Prose for a coffee or book talk.
Canvass with Us!
We are travelling to VA, PA, and NC together to canvass. We'll make a fun outing of it, work to keep people informed and engaged, and enjoy the comradery!
GET INVOLVED!
Join Us - Stay Informed & Take Action
Join us for a brief presentation of all the crazy news through the week. We visit and discuss about what is going on, what needs to be done, what actions groups are taking and share information and ideas.
We visit about big developments of the week and then use SWAT & SMART strategy techniques to identify and build out actions that are achievable and effective.
Come to brainstorm and offer feedback. Take ideas back to your group or gain traction for an action your group is working on.
Join us to touch base and share ideas in person, hear about actions happening, and then write postcards, plug into text banks, or join Swing Left's new Ground Truth canvass calls. An innovative way to connect with voters.
